Win a million Aeroplan miles and see the world!

A million Aeroplan miles could take you to some pretty amazing places.

And they could be yours.

The folks at Aeroplan have launched a special “Moments Worth Millions” ‘campaign, and you could win one of five prizes of a million miles. That’s a five million mile giveaway.

That could take you, and probably your entire family, to just about anywhere in the world for a couple of unforgettable holidays.

All you have to do is share your travel pics, videos and stories on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #withaeroplan. Don’t forget to tell them a bit about your photo.

A million Aeroplan miles would get you to New Zealand several times over. Or take your family and a couple friends!

And that’s it. They’ll draw a million-mile winner every week for five weeks, so be sure you enter your best memories every few days. Or every day, for that matter.

For Facebook, share your photos on the Aeroplan Facebook page (be sure to use the #withaeroplan hashtag). https://www.facebook.com/aeroplan/?ref=br_rs

For Twitter, tweet your photos, videos and stories to @Aeroplan using the #withaeroplan hashtag so they can be easily found.

For Instagram, post your photos, videos and stories to @Aeroplan and use the #withaeroplan hashtag.

I’m a huge fan of Aeroplan, and not because I sometimes write blogs for them. I’ve been an Aeroplan user for 25 or 30 years now and they make a big difference for me.

I use Aeroplan miles for my yearly visit to San Francisco to see my family.

I grew up in California and my Dad and sister and other family members are still there. We go out every year for American Thanksgiving and my wife and I usually use our Aeroplan miles to get there.

It’s a special time every year, and I might not be able to go without my Aeroplan miles. I’ve used our miles in the past to also bring our kids along so they can see their grandfather and other family members.

My wife and I also use our Aeroplan miles so she can join me on various trips throughout the year. I fly Air Canada a good deal and also use my Aeroplan card at Esso stations, Home Hardware and other establishments, so I’m able to accumulate a good number of miles.

This year alone we’ve used those points for my wife to join me in Florida, as well as New York City and Newfoundland, where we just spent a fantastic week exploring St. John’s, staying at the legendary Fogo Island Inn and taking some amazing hikes, including one fantastic walk along the Skerwink Trail in Port Rexton; one of the great hiking trails in Canada.

I’ll be using Aeroplan miles to take my wife to see Hunte’s Gardens and other spots in Barbados this year.

We’ve booked a ticket for my wife to join me in October in Barbados, one of my favourite islands in the Caribbean. We’ll stay a couple nights at The Crane Resort, one of the top places to stay anywhere on the planet as far as I’m concerned, with a fantastic beach, a crazy beautiful swimming pool complex and gorgeous rooms. We’ll also walk down the road to try the famous flying fish sandwiches and award-winning rum punch at Cutters, a place where rock stars and other celebrities often go for lunch. And we’ll head to Hunte’s Gardens to see Anthony Hunte and his magical flower gardens and sculptures.

We also have a booked a ticket for her to join me on assignment in Australia next April so we can visit Sydney, Tasmania and South Australia for some great hikes and wonderful food and wine.

As you may or may not know, you also can use Aeroplan miles to buy meals at some of Canada’s best restaurants, take wine tours in Niagara, buy awesome cooking gear for your new kitchen or for the coolest new electronics gear.
And you can collect Aeroplan miles at dozens of locations, including Delta Hotels, Avis and Budget car rental agencies, Costco, Toyota, TheBrick.com and more.

So be sure to share your favourite travel photos, videos and stories using the #withaeroplan hashtag. You could win trips or buy merchandise you’ve never imagined.
