The bad news continues for Sunwing, and for Canadian travellers. Sunwing airlines has reduced its flight schedules from three airports in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canadian Press reports. Tiffany Chase with the Halifax International Airport Authority said on Sunday that Sunwing cancelled its plans to launch once-weekly flights in February from Halifax to Orlando, Fla., and to Cayo Largo del Sur, Cuba. A new study says Niagara Falls remains king of the tourism castle in Canada, and that Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta hold the top spots. An online travel company called My Baggage ranked the top locations to visit in Canada in spring 2022 by analyzing popularity, weather, cost of activity, Tripadvisor review score, and TikTok views. Niagara Falls, Ontario was the leader by a vast margin, totalling 47.9 million views. Next was Lake Louise in Alberta  followed by the Bruce Peninsula in southern Ontario. Two well-known spots in Canada have made the top 10 of a new list of top natural world wonders. The folks at Kuoni Travel said they conducted a study using eye-tracking technology to find out the most “eye-catching” natural wonders on the planet. Coming in at the top of the podium was Peyto Lake, just north of Banff, Alberta. Sixth was Niagara Falls. Scoring two places in the top 10 is pretty impressive, I have to say.
