Switzerland Tourism is launching a consumer and trade promotion campaign in Canada from March 31 to June 30, 2022. One of Canada’s leading travel and tv personalities, Jean-Michel Dufaux, shows Canadians the best experiences in Switzerland. With the Swiss borders having been open to fully vaccinated Canadians for some time, and no testing required to enter the country, the moment is right to talk about booking travel.
Pascal Prinz, Director for Switzerland Tourism in Canada, explains: “Fully vaccinated Canadians can travel to Switzerland and immediately enjoy the Swiss Alps, our boutique towns and our four language regions. No tests and no quarantine are required, neither for your departure nor for your return. SWISS/Lufthansa Group and Air Canada are ramping up their flight schedule to 95% of 2019, offering direct flights and great deals to Zurich and Geneva from Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary this summer.”
Switzerland Tourism remains a fully committed partner to Canada, supporting travel agents and tour operators with their biggest campaign in many years. Recognizing the need for competent travel advise in this time, Switzerland Tourism has partnered in English-speaking Canada with tour operators such as Goway and in Quebec with Tours Chanteclerc. Prinz emphasizes: “We understand the tremendous value of travel advisors and are therefore organizing the first Switzerland Travel Experience in Canada. We look forward to finally meeting our great partners in person in Montreal on May 30, in Toronto on June 1 and in Vancouver on June 2.”

Or, the Valais Matterhorn Region produces exquisite excellent wine while guaranteeing majestic peaks and glaciers.
I’ve been to Switzerland many times, most recently visiting Basel, Lucerne and Engelberg last September. It’s a glorious country, with fabulous hotels, great cities and amazing nature. Also quite safe and responsible when it comes to health care.
