The Canadian polling company Leger published a study about Canadian airports this week. After surveying residents in each respective market, here’s what they came up with.

LOBSTER PRICES JUMPING

CTV News reports that lobster inflation is a big issue in the Maritimes, with wharf prices as much as five times higher than the $4 a pound they were at a couple years ago.

Most entrees at the Armview Restaurant and Lounge in Halifax, for example, average $15. But as the price of lobster climbs, the cost of their lobster roll has increased to $30, the network said.

JAMAICA RULES CHANGE TODAY

Effective Saturday, April 16, 2022, international visitors to Jamaica will no longer be required to present a negative result from a COVID-19 Antigen or PCR test conducted within 72 hours prior to their travel to enter the island. Additionally, Jamaica’s mandate to wear a mask in enclosed public spaces also ended on April 15, 2022.

The Mirror in the UK has a fun roundup of odd places to stay around the world. The list includes a cabin in Washington state with a scary Jurassic Park theme, including large T-Rex models out front, a place in the D. R. done up with Sponge Bob Square Pants kitsch, and a rotating home in Prince Edward Island. I actually stayed at the rotating house eight or 10 years ago and thought it was terrific.
