Hurricane Nicole has moved out of The Islands Of The Bahamas and an all clear has been issued for the entire Northwest Bahamas. Effective at 5 a.m. today (Thursday, November 10), hurricane warnings for Grand Bahama, Abaco and The Berry Islands, as well as the tropical storm warning for Bimini, had all been discontinued. Passenger traffic at Canada’s busiest airport grew almost four-fold in the first nine months of this year. The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (“GTAA”) today reported its financial and operating results for the three and nine months that ended September 30, 2022. Passenger activity increased by 6.5 million or 135.1 per cent to 11.2 million during the third quarter of 2022 compared to the same period in 2021. Just weeks after Hurricane Ian lashed the Gulf Coast of Florida, Tropical Storm Nicole is battering the Atlantic Coast. Heavy winds and massive waves pounded the coast north of Fort Lauderdale today, forcing evacuations and temporarily shutting down Walt Disney World in Orlando.
