AEROPLAN RAISES RECORD POINTS FOR CHARITY

Aeroplan held its Points Matching Week charity program from October 2 – 8. This year, together with member donations and Aeroplan partner matching, a record-breaking 67,748,801 points were raised for the Air Canada Hospital Transportation Program, making this the most successful campaign in the history of the 20-year program.

As the largest annual fundraiser for the Hospital Transportation Program, the generous donations raised will help provide relief to 700 families who face the stress of transporting a child to hospitals across the country for treatment.

Aeroplan officials said they thank their partners TD, CIBC and AVIS Budget, as well as members for their generosity and contributions which will help ensure the sustainability of this impactful program for years to come.
