Good news from the island of Ireland. As of yesterday, March 6, all COVID-19 travel restrictions have been removed for travelling to the Republic of Ireland. Visitors will no longer need to complete a passenger locator form to travel, nor will they need proof of vaccination or recovery, or a COVID-19 test. Air Transat today announced the relaunch of a significant number of its routes for the summer season, including flights to the Caribbean and new European destinations. The most recent survey by the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) of its American and Canadian media and communications members highlights top travel destinations and motivations for travel this year.   Hot destinations for the media in 2022 are the U.S., including Hawaii, the South Pacific, Canada, the Caribbean and Europe. With flights set to launch in Spring 2022, Ireland is welcoming the news that Air Canada announced this week – an expanded Summer 2022 international schedule with 34 routes relaunching across the Atlantic and Pacific, including Vancouver to Dublin (June 1st) and Montreal to Dublin (June 2nd).
