Chinatown

SINGAPORE – There’s plenty of flash in this island state at the southern tip of Malaysia; designer shops such as Gucci and Prada on dazzling Orchard Road, wondrous buildings by world-renowned architects, and the biggest names in luxury hotels. VANCOUVER – This is one of the world’s favourite cities, a perennial list-topper with gorgeous scenery, fantastic food and a wealth of great things to do. Here are a few favourites. SINGAPORE – Funny thing about travel. Some places you build up and build up in your mind, and then when you go you feel like Norm walking into Cheers and finding the taps have run dry.
