The latest ranking of countries for travel and tourism puts Canada just outside the top 10. The 2024 Travel and Tourism Development Index from the World Economic Forum gives top spot to the United States, followed by Spain and Japan. Canada came in 11th, receiving relatively low scores for tourism infrastructure, openness to travel and tourism, cultural resources and price competitiveness. Destination Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada recently stated that Canada was recently ranked 13th  (in 2021), and that they aimed to get the country into the top seven by 2030. Great Britain is most definitely gearing up for all the celebrations leading up to the Coronation of HM King Charles III in May 2023. There is much being planned all across Britain to mark this historic occasion including all things royal to businesses that support the Prince’s Trust to royal food and fashion, as well as fabulous destinations to holiday just like a royal. Several ocean cruise ships were turned away from ports of call or were prohibited from letting passengers disembark in the Americas this week because of Covid-19 cases aboard, CNN reports.
