Aeroplan is giving customers a nice break just before Christmas. Aeroplan, the loyalty program run by air Canada, placed its expiration policy on hold during the pandemic. They also made our inactivity policy more flexible, as members have 18 months before their Aeroplan points expire if there has been no activity in their account; meaning they haven’t earned, redeemed, donated, transferred, or converted any points. Ontario residents can now earn travel reward points buying booze. Aeroplan, Canada’s leading travel loyalty program, and the LCBO, one of the world’s largest buyers and retailers of beverage alcohol, are pleased to announce that Aeroplan members can now earn points when shopping at LCBO retail stores across Ontario. A lot of folks were skeptical when Air Canada said it was taking over Aeroplan and would bring in a whole new loyalty rewards system. But the early reviews are excellent, indeed.
