Canadians have new options for flights to two of the most iconic cities in the United States, as Air Transat is adding a Montreal-Los Angeles route and Flair Airlines is adding Toronto-Chicago service. Australia’s national carrier today confirmed an order for 12 Airbus A350-1000s to conquer the final frontier of long-haul travel and enable non-stop flights to Australia from any other city, including New York and London from late 2025. Americans are feeling more confident about travel, and two in five are likely to take a trip to Canada this year. New research from Destination Canada paints a pretty good picture for summer tourism north of the border, but there are still concerns about COVID-19 and fuel costs. A new study finds that 96% of Americans who have previously traveled internationally plan to do so in 2022. And Canada is a prime destination.
