Las Vegas tourism shows no signs of slowing down, and Canadians are leading the way. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) on 20FEB released its 2023 Q4 Tourism Report, showing the destination’s popularity as a travel destination among Canadians. Canadian tourism in Las Vegas is the highest it’s been since pre-pandemic levels in 2019. In 2023, there were more than 1.4M Canadians who travelled to Las Vegas.  That’s up more than 60% from 2022 and ever-so-slightly below 2019 numbers. It’s funny how some places just feel like home. My wife and I stayed at the Conrad New York Downtown six or seven years ago and loved it. Canada will smash through its 2022 visitation numbers for Florida when official stats are released later this month. The final tally isn’t in, but VISIT FLORIDA officials attending this week’s Florida Huddle event in Miami said 2,790,000 Canadians made their way to the Sunshine State in 2022. It’s been six months since the Maui wildfires, and I still can’t believe it.
