The Israel Ministry of Tourism says Air Canada will resume flights from Toronto to Tel Aviv on April 8. The ministry sent out a release today (Feb. 29, 2024) showing the dates that various airlines will resume flights to airports in Israel. Airlines, cruise lines and tour operators have temporarily halted service in Israel as war rages in the Middle East. The Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced that tourism arrival numbers, for the first time in over two years, are approaching the same record-breaking numbers of summer, 2019. Tourism continues to recover at a strong pace, according to the United Nations World Tourism Organization. Globally, destinations welcomed almost three times as many international arrivals in the first quarter of 2022 as in the same period of 2021, with Europe leading the sector’s rebound.
