Australia’s national carrier today confirmed an order for 12 Airbus A350-1000s to conquer the final frontier of long-haul travel and enable non-stop flights to Australia from any other city, including New York and London from late 2025. Flair Airlines, Canada’s everyday low fare airline, begins service to New York City today, with the inaugural flight to John F. Kennedy International Airport from Toronto Pearson International Airport. There’s big news in the Big Apple. In another sign that shows you can’t keep a great city down, some of the world’s top museums and attractions will begin reopening tomorrow (Monday, Aug. 24) in New York City.
