My latest “Canada Shorts” item is centred on Regina, a city I visited a few years ago and quite enjoyed. One of the things I liked most in Regina was the Farmer’s Market, where there stands selling lemon kombucha and locally made chutneys. Brits are devouring a television show that features people racing across Canada, and Canadian tourism officials hope it will boost British visits to the country. The bad news continues for Sunwing, and for Canadian travellers. Sunwing airlines has reduced its flight schedules from three airports in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canadian Press reports. Tiffany Chase with the Halifax International Airport Authority said on Sunday that Sunwing cancelled its plans to launch once-weekly flights in February from Halifax to Orlando, Fla., and to Cayo Largo del Sur, Cuba.
