The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (“GTAA”) today said passenger activity in the third quarter of the year was up 11.9% compared to the same period in 2022, rising from 11.2 million to 12.5 million. Porter Airlines is adding Winnipeg to its growing network, with flights between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG). Service between the provincial capitals begins on September 7, with two daily roundtrip flights.
