The tourism folks in The Big Apple have a new idenitity, and a new campaign. At its annual meeting today (April 4), President and CEO Fred Dixon debuted the new name and brand identity of the city’s official destination marketing organization and convention and visitors bureau for the five boroughs of New York City: New York City Tourism + Conventions. The Canadian tourism industry, which accounts for one in ten jobs across the country, is expected to recover to 2019 levels a year earlier than previously forecast. Two of Europe’s most popular destinations are ending travel restrictions on Monday. Beginning today, tourism businesses in Toronto, Mississauga and Brampton can apply for support through the Tourism Relief Fund (TRF) to expand and enhance visitor experiences.
