Americans are itching to hit the road again, a new travel study says. Destination Analysts surveyed American travelers and found that 87.6% have current trip plans. Eighty one per cent of American travelers report strong excitement for their travel this year and 86.2% are in a ready-to-travel state-of-mind. Americans are planning more trips now than at any time in since the start of the pandemic, a new study says. A report from Destination Analysts finds that nearly 80% of American travelers have trips currently planned in 2022. American travellers are feeling more jittery about travel. Again. After a two-month period of recovery, with the emergence of the Omicron variant, the coronavirus has struck back on travel sentiment and behaviours. A study by Destination Analysts finds that American travellers are feeling more anxious and less optimistic about the near-term. A survey of U.S. travellers suggests a major travel rebound is underway. The latest monthly report from Longwoods International finds that the number of American travellers with trip plans in the next six months now stands at 91%, the highest level since the beginning of the pandemic and up from a low of 57% last December.
